Who Can Join?
Rockwell Collins employees, spouses, retirees, and certain contract employees are eligible to join the Collins Photo Club.

Annual dues are $16.00 and payment corresponds with the company fiscal year.

Just fill out the Membership form and return it along with your dues to start enjoying the benefits of the club.

Club Activities
The Collins Photo Club holds an annual photo contest that allow members to learn how to choose and present their best photographs in a friendly competition. Winning photos are often displayed in Building 106 and are enjoyed by your fellow employees. Members have the opportunity to participate in club activities such as photo contests, field trips, work shops, monthly programs, and club projects. Everyone is encouraged to join in! Enter a statewide competition at the Iowa State Fair or enter the club's annual one-shot contest. The club can help inform you of various photo contests. Workshops and Field Trips
Field trips are organized by the club members. Photographing with other club members is always a learning experience, and is much different than shooting by yourself. It is almost guaranteed that you will learn or rediscover a new aspect of photography. Workshops are another benefit of belonging to the Collins Photo Club that many members enjoy! Individuals get to learn first hand and try out the activity immediately. Workshops in the past have included portrait lighting, mat cutting, and dry mounting photographs. Access to Club Equipment
Members have the opportunity to sign out and use club owned equipment. There are dozens of different types of equipment, from filters to medium format cameras, which are accessible to the photo club member. Photography can be an expensive hobby, but members find it economical to use the club equipment. Especially, if you like to try new techniques or are in the process of learning.
